Ioannis Solos Ph.D., MD (China)., L.Ac, has been involved with Asian Medicine since 1998. He holds a Medical Degree and a Master of Medicine in Traditional Diagnosis (2008) from the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, and a Medical Ph.D in Integrative Medicine (2016) from the Jinan University in Guangzhou (China).
He is classically trained in Acupuncture and Canonic Herbalism (Jing Fang). His clinical focus also includes martial style acupuncture for spinal and musculoskeletal problems, as well as his own manipulations for "tendon and fascia reconditioning" for bone, joint and spinal disease, which he has developed after years of experience working in Chinese hospitals. He is an established academician, with numerous books and peer-reviewed articles. He serves in the Editorial Boards of several peer-reviewed academic journals, and as an Executive Council member in various committees for the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies. He is currently residing and teaching clinical medicine in Scottsdale, AZ.
